During the "4th Annual Symposium: American Academy of Nanomedicine (AANM)" which took place in 4-7 September 2008, in Bolger Center, Potomac, Maryland, USA,

Professor Stergios Logothetidis, the ΝANONET director, presented the profile and main objectives of the network, during the "Εuropean network of Nanomedicine"session.

 
The presentation was entitled:"The NANONET Thematic Network" and included a short introduction on the foundation of NANONET, its clusters and information about their different activities focusing more on the Nanobiotechnology & Nanomedicine cluster. The involvement of NANONET with other networks aiming on the expansion of the network and the different collaborative and funding opportunities was also be discussed.
