Opportunities for business and research collaboration in the Nano Brokerage Event during the EuroNanoForum 2009 conference in Prague, 04.06.09
Opportunities of networking and starting technological and/or business partnerships/collaborations in the fields of Nanosciences and Nanotechnology will arise for Greek organisations and businesses participating in the Nano Brokerage Event Prague 2009, on 4th June 2009 in Prague. It is a one day event accompanying the conference EuroNanoForum 2009 organized by the Business and Innovation Centre Plzen and the Technology Centre AS CR as an action of the Enterprise Europe Network supported by the European Commission under the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP) and the National Contact Points Network (NCP) for the thematic area 4: “Nanosciences, Nanotechnologies, Materials and new production processes (NMP)”. EuroNanoForum 2009 will be held in Prague, June 2-5, 2009, during the Czech presidency of the European Union. The Nano Brokerage Event is supported by the Czech presidency and the Directorate G, Industrial Technologies of the European Commission. The HELP-FORWARD Network (PRAXI), member of the Enterprise Europe Network - Hellas and the National Contact Point (NCP) for the 7th Framework Programme and the thematic area 4: “Nanosciences, Nanotechnologies, Materials and new production processes (NMP)” actively supports the participation of Greek businesses and organisations in the Nano Brokerage Event 2009.
The event is targeted at companies, technology centres, research and development institutes, research laboratories, universities and private researchers in the fields of Nanosciences and Nanotechnology focusing on the following areas:
- Nanotechnologies applied in Chemistry
- Nanotechnologies applied in Energy
- Nanotechnologies applied in Health
- Nanotechnologies applied in Environment and Water Processes
- Nanotechnologies applied in Production and Manufacturing Technologies
Therefore the event will create a unique opportunity for researchers and industrial experts working in diverse fields of science and technology to meet, discuss, co-operate, and to contribute to the definition of a Nanotechnology strategy after 2009 in Europe and the rest of the world and is believed to attract significant representatives from industry, research centres and universities. Furthermore it will provide prospects for networking and searching for partners for the European R&D projects under the 7th Research Framework Programme, and in particular the NMP programme, for which the next call, will be announced at the end of July 2009.

EuroNanoForum 2009 will be held in Prague, June 2-5, 2009, and is the largest conference in the field of Nanotechnologies that is organised by the Czech presidency of the European Union and the European Commission. The conference focuses on the applications of nanotechnology in eco- and energy-efficient industrial production, health, environment and energy.

Costs
The event is free of charge for the participants of the EuroNanoForum 2009 conference.
Participants interested only in Nano Brokerage Event Prague 2009 must pay the entrance fee 150 € per person. The fee covers event organisation, individual meeting arrangement, one day entry (just 4th June) to the EuroNanoForum 2009 conference and other accompanying activities of the conference (industrial exhibition and poster session). Lunch and catering during the whole day are included, as well.

If you cannot attend the event, there is the possibility for a representative of HELP-FORWARD Network (PRAXI) to be present at the bilateral meetings on your behalf.
