Calls for Proposals Published
1) The European Commission's Directorate-General for Research has launched a number of calls for proposals under the 2009 and 2010 work programmes of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).
Some of the Calls of interest are:
- Health: (FP7-Health-2010-Single-Stage and FP7-Health-2010-Two-Stage).
Deadlines for submission of the proposals: 19 November 2009 and 29 October 2009 respectively.
- Information and Communication Technologies
for Call: (ICT) FP7-ICT-2009-5.
Deadline for submission of the proposal: 26 October 2009.
- Nanosciences, Nanotechnologies, Materials and new Production Technologies:
(FP7-NMP-2010-SMALL-4 and FP7-NMP-2010-LARGE-4 and FP7-NMP-2010-SME-4).
Deadline for submission of the proposals: 8 December 2009.

2) The Greek "General Secretariat for Research & Technology of the Ministry of Development" (GSRT) has launched the Call: "ΣΥΝΕΡΓΑΣΙΑ" (SYNERGASIA) . Some of the topics of interest of the Call are:
1. Health, 2. Biotechnology, 3. Εnergy-Enviroment-Climate, 4. Νanotechnology, 5. Information & Communication Technologies, 6. Textiles, etc.
Deadline for submission of the proposals: 16 October 2009.

3) The Greek "Ministry of National Education" has launched the open Call for Proposals: "ΘΑΛΗΣ" (THALIS) within the framework of the Business Program "Education and Lifelong Learning" (Ε.Π. «Εκπαίδευση & Δια Βιου Μάθηση»)
The purpose of the Call is to enhance the interdisciplinary research and innovation in order to attract high-level researchers from abroad by conducting basic and applied research excellence.
Deadline for submission of the proposals: 30 November 2009.
